City of Carbondale Police Pension Board met June 14.

3. MINUTES - Reading and approval of the minutes for the May 17, 2022 meeting 

4. CORRESPONDENCE - Kerber, Eck & Braeckel Engagement Letter

7. INVESTMENT REPORT - Patrick Donnelly of Graystone Consulting

8. OLD BUSINESS

A) Discuss May 25, 2022 Circuit Court ruling in consolidation lawsuit and a request from IPOPIF regarding transition of investment portfolio. Review and approve Resolution; Certification Form; and Notice to Custodian for transition of investment portfolio to IPOPIF.

B) Verify Cash Balances in local checking account to pay beneficiaries and bills.

C) Discuss preparation of cash flow spread sheet for IPOPIF.

D) Review and approve Paul Edwards QILDRO, if necessary documents have been received.

E) Confirm completion of mandatory trustee training for 2022.

9. NEW BUSINESS

A) Provide written notice to Graystone Consulting as investment advisors regarding transition of investment portfolio from Graystone Consulting to IPOPIF.

B) Discuss status of Annual Statement, Interrogatories and Audit to be filed with the Illinois Department of Insurance no later than October 30, 2022 (no extensions will be granted by IDOI). Filing must also include copies of minutes from all meetings and training certificates for all trustees.

C) Discuss Public Act 102-0811, effective 1/1/2023 (formerly House Bill 5447)

D) Review and sign Kerber, Eck & Braeckel Engagement Letter.
