Herrin Community Unit School District 4 Board met Sept. 3.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mr. Loucks led the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL: Those answering roll call were Kathy Woodcock, Steve Young, Dave Loucks, Mark Collins, Susie Etherton, Daniel Kay, and Kelly Green
VISITOR PARTICIPATION: Kristi Weber discussed the importance of MAP Testing
A) NEW BUSINESS
1. Discuss Specific Employee(s) – The Board met with Jim Helton from IASB to discuss the executive search process for the Superintendent position.
2. Discuss COVID Updates – Dr. Ryker provided information and answered any questions regarding the current status and numbers for the District.
ADJOURNMENT: Having completed items on the agenda, Collins made a motion, seconded by Kay to adjourn until the next meeting of the Board of Education scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 5:00 p.m., in the Unit Office Conference Room, 500 North Tenth Street, Herrin, IL 62948.
