City of Carbondale Police Pension Board of Trustees met Sept. 15.

The President of the Carbondale Police Pension Board, finds that an in person board meeting is not practical or prudent due to the current pandemic. In addition, he finds that he does not have to physically be present at the meeting location due to the Governor’s current Disaster Proclamation.

A) Review and approve Annual Statement, Interrogatories and Audit to be filed with the Illinois Department of Insurance no later than October 30, 2020 (no extensions will be granted by IDOI). Filing must also include copies of minutes from all meetings and training certificates for all trustees.
B) Discuss response to IDOI Audit Examination request
C) Discuss updates on Police Pension Investment Fund.

A) Status of hiring of MWM to prepare Actuarial Report (City to pay ½ and Board to pay ½ of associated expenses).
