Here is the minutes as provided by the board:

The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Wednesday October 9, 2019 at 9:16 a.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a regular meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:


Ron Ellis, Chairman

Brent Gentry, Commissioner

Jim Marlo, Commissioner

Attest: Amanda Barnes, County Clerk and Recorder

Kim Meyer, Hudgens and Meyer and Ashley Gott, Treasurer present.

Discussion had with Keith and Kyle Violett from Pittsburg Water Department concerning Whiteash. Pittsburg is currently looking at taking over the Whiteash sewer system. No action taken.

Discussion had with Amanda Barnes, County Clerk; Jr. Burke, Coroner; Terese Thien, Public Defender; Doug Williams, Public Building Commission; Bennie Vick, Sheriff on their budgets for the 19/20 fiscal year.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Ron Ellis to recess and reconvene until 1:45 p.m. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Reconvened meeting at 2:00 p.m.

Budgeting discussion. No action taken.

Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Ron Ellis to adjourn meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
