Carterville Water and Sewer Department recently issued the following announcement.
Carterville is taking their business development to the citizens. The citizens of Carterville will have an opportunity to take a short survey to give their input on the types of businesses they want to see and the ones they would support in their community.
The initiative is spearheaded by two City Council Aldermen, Tom Liebenrood & Tom Harness with a group of citizen stakeholders focused on being proactive in bringing businesses to the city. With limited land and real estate, the city needs to work with all businesses willing to be a part of the Carterville community.
The need for additional tax revenue has created a sense of urgency and a desire to work with the community to support existing business opportunities and recruit new businesses to Carterville.
The survey is less than 3 minutes, active now and will run to the end of September.
