CARBONDALE NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES PERSONNEL BOARD: Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapons Arrest

Carbondale Non-Bargaining Unit Employees Personnel Board recently issued the following announcement.

On 04-25-19 at approximately 2:00 p.m. officers arrested Jody Pullen in the 400 block of Small Street in Harrisburg, Illinois. Pullen was wanted on warrants for charges of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Aggravated Battery with a Firearm and Felon in Possession of a Firearm related to the shooting in the 100 block of North Washington Street on 04-12-19.

Police Chief Jeff Grubbs said, “Our officers and our investigators have done a tremendous job resolving a traumatic and senseless incident. One part of that was identifying and removing this violent offender from the community. I appreciate the assistance of the public in furthering the efforts of our officers as we continue on with this investigation.”

Pullen is currently incarcerated in the Saline County Jail. The Carbondale Police Department was assisted by the Illinois State Police, the Harrisburg Police Department and the United States Marshals Service during the arrest. The case investigation is ongoing and still active and there is no further information to be released at this time.
