Southern Illinois University School of Medicine recently issued the following announcement.
Check your child's car seat at the SIU Center for Family Medicine parking lot, 520 N. 4th St., on Wednesday, August 15. This event will be held as part of the Center for Family Medicine's Federally Qualified Health Centers week activities.
Certified car seat safety technicians will provide parents and caregivers with an opportunity to learn about child passenger safety and have their car seats checked for proper use and installation. Please bring the child who will be riding in the car seat, the vehicle owner’s manual and the car seat instruction manual, if possible.
