Carbondale Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
AES Solar is excited to announce the completion of a new solar power installation at the Rosebud Antique Mall in Colp, Illinois. This 68-panel, 20 kilowatt array is expected to produce 28,188 kWh in its first year of production. This is one of the larger systems in the area.
A ribbon cutting for the new system will be held on Friday, August 17th, 2018, from 12pm - 1:30pm at the Rosebud Antique Mall, located at 4451 Herrin Rd, Carterville, IL 62918. Please note that while the legal address is listed as Carterville, the antique mall is located on the north side of Colp. The Carterville Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance, and local businesses and media are welcomed to join.
