Williamson County Board of Commissioners met December 7. 

Here is the minutes as provided by the board:

The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 1:37 p.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a special meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:


                                                                   Ron Ellis, Chairman

                                                              Jim Marlo, Commissioner

                                                            Brent Gentry, Commissioner

Attest: Amanda Barnes, County Clerk and Recorder

Wendy Cunningham, Assistant State’s Attorney present.

Discussion had with Gary Pearson, General Manager of Republic Services and Lana Alderdice, Sales Manager concerning the Williamson County Recycling. Republic will be sending over a proposal for recycling pick up for two locations.

Discussion had with Jeff Robinson, Supervisor of Assessment, concerning a stipend transfer. All in agreement that the transfer is being taken care of properly.

Discussion had with Ryan Gerber, CDS, about ventilation in IT room. Further discussion needs to be had with PBC on this issue.

Discussion had with Greg Smothers, County Engineer, on end of the year transfer for $102,000. It was agreed upon that Greg will make transfer out of his funds.

Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Jim Marlo adjourning meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
