State Representative Dave Severin (R-Benton) hosted the annual Senior Citizens Health and Wellness Fair in Mount Vernon, drawing more than 150 local seniors. The event featured numerous health care and senior services vendors who provided information and door prizes to attendees.
“More than 150 seniors were on hand to interact with dozens of health care and senior services vendors who brought information and fantastic door prizes for our guests,” Severin said. “This event gets bigger and better every year, and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2026!”
Severin was elected as a Republican to the Illinois State House in 2023, representing the 116th House District after succeeding David Friess.
The event is part of ongoing efforts by Severin's office to connect seniors with resources in the community.
