Friday, March 28: Murphysboro High School standout Sarah Cook’s college team wins to Belmont Bruins

On Friday, March 28, former Murphysboro High School standout Sarah Cook’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their first matchup against the Bruins this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Belmont Bruins.
