Southern Illinois University's women's golf team ended its regular season with a 13th place finish at the Terps Invitational in College Park, Maryland, on April 7, 2025. Their top performer was Calli Smith, who shot all rounds under 80, totaling a score of 234 (+18), marking her lowest score of the season. Head Coach Rory Weinfurther spoke about Smith's consistency and impact, expressing optimism about her role in upcoming competitions. "Calli was really focused and thoughtful during the round which was awesome and fun to watch," Weinfurther commented. "She will be a huge factor in conference, especially knowing the golf course."

The team's collective score was 963 (+99). Alongside Smith, Kayla Sayyalinh finished 72nd with 239 (+23), Pihla Pennanen 76th with 244 (+28), Ella Overstreet tied for 79th with 247 (+31), and Allie Santos 81st with 249 (+33). With the Missouri Valley Conference Championship ahead, Weinfurther emphasized the importance of upcoming practices. "I'm really looking for those traveling to want to do well this week and do everything they can to prepare to compete during our practice times but also outside of it," she stated.
