Honor Flight participants receive special recognition at Veterans Airport in Marion

Recently, special House Certificates were presented to honor military veterans who will be departing from Veterans Airport in Marion on May 6, 2025. The community is invited to join in sending them off and welcoming them back that evening.

"The next Mission 15 is Go for September 16, 2025!"

The Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois offers an opportunity for veterans to visit the U.S. Capitol and various memorials that celebrate their service. Those interested in recognizing a veteran in their life are encouraged to learn more about this effort.
