The Missouri Valley Conference has released its Pre-Championship Poll for the Women's Swim and Dive Championship, placing the Salukis in the lead. Southern Illinois University (SIU) garnered 75 points and four first-place votes, positioning them as favorites for this week's competition.
Indiana State follows closely with 72 points and one first-place vote. Missouri State also received attention, securing two first-place votes and accumulating 69 points overall.
Little Rock and the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) are ranked fourth and fifth with 45 and 43 points, respectively. The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is in sixth place with over 40 points. Illinois State, Evansville, and Valparaiso occupy the last three positions with scores of 33, 18, and 10 points.
The Women's MVC Championships will commence on Wednesday in Waukee, Iowa, with events starting at 6 p.m.
