Murphysboro High School has recently shared several updates and announcements through their social media channel. These posts highlight upcoming events and ongoing activities within the school community.

On February 20, 2025, Murphysboro High School extended their best wishes to Bryce Edwards as he participated in the IHSA State Wrestling Tournament held in Champaign. The school expressed its support with a tweet saying "Good Luck Bryce Edwards in the IHSA State Wrestling Tournament beginning today in Champaign!"

Later that day, on February 20, 2025, Murphysboro High School announced that the senior night game was scheduled to proceed as planned. They mentioned that both the 8th grade band and alumni band members would be joining their Crimson Express for this event. Additionally, a special halftime performance featuring a Dad/Family Dazzler Dance was noted. The tweet stated "Tomorrow's senior night game is still on! The 8th grade band and alumni band members will be joining our Crimson Express. Halftime will feature our Dad/Family Dazzler Dance." Senior parents were encouraged to attend by 6:30 PM.
