Southern Illinois University's basketball team is set to face Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois on Wednesday night. The game will take place at Carver Arena with a 6 p.m. CT tipoff.

Fans can also listen to the radio broadcast locally on 101.5 CIL-FM or through various digital platforms such as the Saluki Radio Network and the Varsity Network App, where Luke Martin and Rodney Watson will provide coverage.

SIU enters this contest having won seven of their last nine games, holding an overall record of 12-13 and a conference record of 7-7 in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC). The team has been performing well on the road, winning four consecutive MVC road games for the first time since the 2015-16 season.

In recent performances, SIU achieved a season-high by making 15 three-pointers against Evansville. The team's offensive efforts have placed them third in the MVC for rebounds per game and second for offensive boards per game.

Key players for SIU include Ali Dibba and Kennard Davis Jr., who rank third and fourth in scoring within the MVC respectively. Jarrett Hensley recently recorded his third double-double of the season while freshman Drew Steffe scored a career-high 20 points against UIC.

Bradley University stands as preseason favorites in the MVC with a current record of 19-6 overall and 10-4 within conference play. Leading scorers Duke Deen, Zek Montgomery, and Darius Hannah contribute significantly to Bradley's performance.

Historically, Bradley leads their series against Southern Illinois with a record of 59-50, having won five consecutive games against SIU. The last encounter between these teams resulted in an 83-60 victory for Bradley back in December.
