Southern Illinois Women's Golf team is set to begin its 2025 spring season at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate in Palm City, Florida. The event, hosted by UNC-Greensboro, starts on Sunday, February 9th, and will see each golfer playing 18 holes daily through Tuesday.

Sophomore Kayla Sayyalinh leads the team with an average of 75.83 strokes per round and achieved a ninth-place finish at The Velvet Classic, the highest individual finish for the team.
First-year head coach Rory Weinfurther has selected Ella Overstreet, Pihla Pennanen, Allie Santos, and Calli Smith to accompany Sayyalinh to Florida.
Weather forecasts predict light winds and temperatures reaching up to 82 degrees on Sunday and Monday. On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to be slightly cooler at 81 degrees with winds up to 15 miles per hour.
