Southern Illinois University's track and field team is set to participate in its third indoor meet of the season at the Fighting Illini Challenge. The event will take place in Champaign, Illinois, starting on Friday, January 24th, at 11 a.m.

The Salukis are coming off a recent competition at the Indiana Invitational held on January 17th and 18th. They will be facing formidable opponents from seven other schools: host Illinois, Arkansas State, Eastern Illinois, Little Rock, Purdue, Western Ontario, and Wisconsin.

The first day of events begins with men's and women's combined events at 11 a.m., followed by field events at 1 p.m., and track events commencing at 1:30 p.m. On the second day, activities start with the conclusion of the men's heptathlon at 11 a.m., with subsequent field and track events starting at 1 p.m.
