Southern Illinois University's track and field team is set to participate in its second indoor meet of the 2025 season. The Salukis will compete at the Indiana Invitational, scheduled for Friday, December 17, at 3 p.m. in Bloomington, Indiana.

The team returns to competition following a winter break after last participating in the Saluki Fast Start on December 6, 2024. At the Indiana Invitational, Southern Illinois will face teams from Indiana, Dayton, and Windsor. This event marks their first encounter with high-major competition this season.

The first day of events includes the heptathlon beginning at 3 p.m., followed by field events at 3:30 p.m., and track events starting at 5 p.m. On the second day, activities commence with the pentathlon at 9 a.m., followed closely by the conclusion of the heptathlon at 9:10 a.m. Field events are set to start at 9:45 a.m., with track events wrapping up by 12:30 p.m.
