Local fire departments aiming to construct or renovate their stations have an opportunity to apply for grant funding. A total of $5 million is available for fire departments throughout the state. The deadline for submitting applications is February 28, 2025.
To be eligible for a loan or grant, departments must comply with NFIRS Reporting guidelines. During the open application periods, a list will be provided indicating which departments are currently compliant and which are not.
