The Veterans Health Administration has announced the introduction of the One Indiana Call Line, a new resource designed to assist Indiana veterans, Veteran Services Organizations, and Congressional offices. This centralized number aims to streamline advocacy for veterans' concerns and enhance collaboration with Indiana congressional offices and community partners by identifying their constituents servicing VISN.

The One Indiana Call Line is intended to offer Hoosier veterans enrolled in one of the state's four Veteran Integrated Services Networks (VISN) a consistent experience in addressing concerns and reducing resolution times. The networks include VISN 9, 10, 12, or 15.

This service allows veterans to use a central number for patient advocacy services. Additionally, call coordinators can help Congressional teams identify the appropriate VISN serving their constituency.

While focusing on patient advocacy and stakeholder connections, the call center will not handle medical issues, appointments, benefits inquiries, or crises. Veterans can reach the One Indiana Call Line at 1-844-IND-VETS (1-844-463-8387).

Veterans experiencing a crisis are advised to contact the Veterans Crisis Line at 988 and press 1. For medical questions or appointment needs, veterans should contact their local clinics or use My HealtheVet secure messaging or VA Health Connect.

The One Indiana line does not schedule appointments or address questions regarding benefits or cemetery issues. For further information, Tonya can be contacted at 844-463-8387.
