North Texas sealed their victory in the fourth quarter by outscoring Southern Illinois 24-6, culminating in an overall win of 87-54. Isabella Palmqvist was another key player for SIU, adding ten points on efficient shooting.
Following this defeat, Southern Illinois holds a record of two wins and five losses. Their next game is scheduled against SIUE Cougars on Sunday, December 15.
