The Southern Illinois University (SIU) women's soccer team concluded its season with a 2-1 loss to Indiana State in the opening round of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Tournament. The match took place on Thursday.

Indiana State quickly gained an advantage by scoring just 58 seconds into the first half. SIU's Maycie Massingill equalized in the 15th minute with her third goal of the season. However, Indiana State reclaimed their lead ten minutes later, scoring in the 25th minute to make it 2-1. Despite outshooting Indiana State 8-3 in the first half, SIU couldn't capitalize further.
