It is important to raise awareness about recognizing the warning signs of a stroke. The acronym FAST stands for Face Drooping, Arm Weakness, Speech Difficulty, and Time to Call 911.

On World Stroke Day, recognition is also given to stroke survivors for their courage and strength. One such survivor is Rob Plaskas, who serves on staff and uses his story to inspire others. More information about his recovery journey can be found at: https://www.thecaucusblog.com/2024/10/world-stroke-day-spotlight-rob-plaskas.html
