The Southern Illinois University (SIU) women's soccer team is set to face Drake in their final home match of the regular season. The game will take place on Thursday, October 24, at 6 p.m. in Carbondale, Illinois.

The Salukis enter the match with a record of 6-5-5 overall and 2-3-3 in Missouri Valley Conference play. Their last outing resulted in a 3-0 loss to Belmont. In that match, Guliana Balistreri managed three shots on goal out of the team's total seven shots.

McKensey Bunch and Sophia Schlicklin are currently leading the Salukis with four goals each this season. Dana Cruz has contributed three assists. Overall, nine different players have scored for SIU, totaling 16 goals this season. Goalkeeper Fabiana Solano ranks second in the Missouri Valley Conference for goals allowed, having conceded 15 so far. Solano and Lucy Horn have both played 1,440 minutes this season.

Drake comes into Thursday's match with a record of 6-6-5 overall and a conference record of 5-2-1 after securing a 2-1 victory against Northern Iowa on Sunday. Eve Blakey leads Drake with six goals this season.

This upcoming game marks the fifth meeting between SIU and Drake, with Drake leading the series history at two wins and two draws. The Salukis lost their last encounter against Drake by a score of 2-1.
