Southern Illinois enters Thursday's match with a record of 3-2-2 after falling to Lindenwood, 1-0, on Sunday. Sophia Schlicklin leads the team in goals with four, followed by McKensey Bunch with two. Bunch and Dana Cruz lead the Salukis in assists with two each. Goalkeeper Fabiana Solano has made 21 saves this season, having faced 77 shots and allowed seven goals. Solano and Lucy Horn have both played the full 630 minutes of the season so far.
SIUE is coming off a 6-1 loss to Saint Louis on Sunday and currently holds a 1-2-2 overall record. Savannah DeFini leads the Cougars with three goals this season. The Cougars have scored a total of eight goals this season.
