The Southern Illinois University women's basketball team has announced its 2024-25 non-conference schedule, featuring a season-opening trip to Auburn on November 4.

"The challenge is to get this group ready for Missouri Valley Conference play," head coach Kelly Bond-White stated. "Opening the season on the road at an NCAA team, returning regional series with four more road games, and a challenging home schedule puts us in a position to do just that."

Following their early November game at Auburn, SIU will host Eastern Kentucky for their home opener on November 10 at the Banterra Center. The Salukis will then welcome the University of Louisiana Monroe on November 13.

Southern Illinois will conclude the opening month of the season with two consecutive road games. They will visit IU Indy on November 16 and Southeast Missouri State on November 25 before Thanksgiving Break.

After the holiday, SIU will play four games in December, beginning with a home game against Central Methodist on December 2 at 11 a.m., currently slated as the annual Elementary School game.

Next up for the Salukis is a road trip to North Texas on December 7 in Denton, Texas. They will then head to Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIUE) on December 15.

Southern Illinois will finish its non-conference schedule at home against the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) on December 22.

As of September 10, the Missouri Valley Conference women's basketball schedule for 2024-25 has not been released.
