1. The Minutes From The August 21, 2024 Special City Council Meeting

3. Approve The Appointment Of Janis Tures To The Police Bension Board

4. Approve The 2025 Annual Meeting Calendar

Revised to reflect new meeting time for the Council, Wastewater Treatment Commission, and new dates for the Finance Advisory Committee.

VII. NEW BUSINESS

A. RECOGNITION OF CHIEF ROBERT SMITH UPON HIS RETIREMENT

B. SWEARING IN OF CHIEF CHRISTOPHER HATHCOAT

C. APPROVE AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING TITLE 6 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF GENOA

This Ordinance replaces the current Title 6 of the Municipal Code. These changes are recommended as they reflect how the City currently operates, clarifies the intent of or modernizes existing ordinances, brings the Code into compliance with State Law, or instead of repeating State Law, references the State Vehicle Code. Staff has reviewed this with the City’s consulting Attorneys and will bring additional recommendations to the remaining Titles of the Municipal Code in the coming months.

D. APPROVE A FAÇADE GRANT AGREEMENT WITH PRIZM REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS, LLC, FOR 105 SOUTH EMMETT STREET, NOT TO EXCEED $30,000, FOR A TERM ENDING ON JANUARY 1, 2025

Please see the color rendering and cost estimates contained in the packet. The property owner of 105 South Emmett Street, Prizm Real Estate Investments, LLC, has submitted an application for improve their façade with stone veneer, board and batten, new windows, lighting, and doors.
