The Southern Illinois University women's soccer team will continue their road trip with a visit to UT Martin on Sunday at 5 p.m.

The Salukis, who currently hold an 0-0-1 record, are coming off a draw against Jackson State on Thursday. In that match, McKensey Bunch scored both goals for the Salukis, while Quinn Sowders recorded her first assist. Goalkeeper Fabiana Solano made three saves during the game.

UT Martin, meanwhile, lost their season opener 0-1 to North Alabama on Thursday. Goalkeeper Mac Titus made five saves from North Alabama's 11 shot attempts, four of which came in the first half. The Skyhawks have participated in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Championship for the past seven seasons.

This upcoming match marks only the second meeting between these two programs. Their last encounter was in 2021 when UT Martin defeated Southern Illinois 2-0. Consequently, UT Martin leads the series 1-0.
