4. CONSENT AGENDA

A. INVOICES

1) Discuss/Approve Governmental Consulting Solutions, Inc. Invoice 6551 for $3,000 for consulting services for July 2024.

2) Discuss/Approve 2nd quarter REDCO payment of $21,250.

B. EMPLOYMENT

1) HUB RECREATION CENTER

Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Cassiel Miller as part-time Lifeguard $15.50/hour, pending results of pre-employment requirements.

Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Victoria Kramarz as part-time Lifeguard $15.50/hour, pending results of pre-employment requirements.

C. MINUTES

1) Discuss/Approve minutes from the July 8, 2024 council meeting.

NEW BUSINESS

5. BUILDING & CODE SERVICES

A. Request for a Special Use Permit at Rt 37 North Court St., Parcel# 06-12-476-006, to build a new County Animal Control Facility in an R-A Rural Agricultural zone. (Williamson County Board)

6. STREET DEPARTMENT

A. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3968 Directing the Sale of Personal Property. 

7. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND MUNICIPAL PLANNING

A. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3969 establishing a date for a public hearing to discuss the establishment of TIF XX.

B. Discuss/Approve TIF Grant Applications received through July 19, 2024.

8. FIRE DEPARTMENT

A. Discuss/Approve a collective bargaining agreement with the Marion Professional Fire Fighters Association Local No. 2977 through April 30, 2028.

9. POLICE DEPARTMENT

A. Discuss/Approve the recommendation of Commissioner Barwick and Chief Fitts to hire Daniel Boyd as a dispatcher at the probationary 1 pay rate per the collective bargaining agreement. Boyd's start date will be July 29th, 2024.

B. Discuss/Approve a collective bargaining agreement with FOP for Patrol Officers, Sergeants, and Detectives through April 2028.

10. THE PAVILION

A. Discuss/Approve a quote from Midwest Music Supply to install the remaining programmable lighting throughout the meeting rooms and expo hall.
