CARBONDALE, Ill. - The SIU Men's Golf program announced the signing of Luke Lasley on Friday.

"It is always exciting to keep local players close to home," Head Coach Justin Fetcho said. "Growing up right here in Southern Illinois, he has immense pride in being a Saluki."

The Anna, Ill. native joins the Salukis as a transfer from John A. Logan College. His 2024 achievements included a win in the SIGA championship, where he tallied a final round of 64. His two wins during the NJCAA season earned him a spot on the All-District Team.

"We are looking for him to carry that momentum through the rest of the summer and right into the season," Fetcho said. "Luke has been working very hard on his game and his passion, enthusiasm and hard work thrown into our culture and environment here at SIU and we know Luke is going to continue to improve and get better."

Lasley put together an individual win-loss record of 364-97 in the 2023-24 season, with his win in the SIGA championship earning him an exemption into the Illinois State Amateur in 2025.
