If the current inverters cannot handle the amount of energy produced, there will be a need to decrease the number of panels or purchase higher capacity inverters that can handle the energy board. Ameren is working on pricing for new inverters, and GRP has agreed to pay up to $200,000 of the cost of new inverters if this is the route that is taken.
