The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 9:04 a.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:
Tim Atkisson, Commissioner
Jim Marlo, Commissioner
Jim Rasor, Commissioner
Mark Dillon, Eggemeyer and Associates, present to discuss new Animal Control facility. Transferring 1.2 million from capital improvement into its own fund for 2024 to start on infrastructure, road and fence. The remaining will be taken from 2025 budget to fund the rest of the project.
Motion made by Jim Rasor and seconded by Tim Atkisson, approving CDS Contract with some amendments to the contract taking place prior to signing. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving Mayer Networks invoice in the amount of $10,772.50 for IT Equipment. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
ARPA claims were submitted for signatures from: Seasoning Bistro, Coalition for the Homeless and Burnside Water District.
Discussion had on a Recycling Cleanup Day on June 8th, 2024 from 8-12. Commissioner Marlo will verify that Republic is available for that date and time.
Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor adjourning meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
