Williamson County Board of Commissioners met March 6.

The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:

Tim Atkisson, Commissioner

Jim Marlo, Commissioner

Jim Rasor, Commissioner

Excess Liability and Hope Trust Board Member will be discussed at a later date.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving Wex Fleet Card Program for any office that has County vehicles. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving Raffle and Poker Run License for VFW Post 9763. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving Raffle and Poker Run License for FOE #2569. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Rasor and seconded by Jim Marlo, approving Funds Transfer into Sheriff’s Shooting Range Account. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Amendment to an Ordinance Establishing a System for the Licensing of Organizations to Operate Raffles and Poker Runs in the County of Williamson, IL will be discussed at the next meeting.

James Mayer, Mayer Networks, present to discuss website issues and direction needed going forward. No action taken.

Motion made by Tim Atkisson and seconded by Jim Marlo, to rescind ARPA Participation Agreement for City of Marion sewer project in the amount of $300,000. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving ARPA Participation Agreement for City of Marion roundabout project in the amount of $300,000. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Tim Atkisson and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving Travel Reimbursement for Jim Marlo in the amount of $251.92. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Abstain; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present two voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving Travel Reimbursement for Tim Atkisson in the amount of $249.24. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Abstain; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present two voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor to adjourn meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
