Williamson County Board of Commissioners met July 26.

The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:

Tim Atkisson, Commissioner

Jim Marlo, Commissioner

Jim Rasor, Commissioner

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving $7500 donation to the City of Energy for K9. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Discussion had on software licenses for Commissioners computers. Currently, there isn’t any open licenses. Commissioner Rasor sent an email to all department heads asking if they have a direct line number to please let him know so that Mayer can keep that number and designate to a person. Also, the internal chat was mentioned as far as whether or not the Commissioners would like to keep the function active. No action taken.

Surplus resolution will be added to the next agenda to recycle old phones.

ARPA claims from Saline River, Village of Crainville, Lakeside Water District and Burnside water district were submitted for signatures

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor to adjourn meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
