B. EMPLOYMENT
1) HUB RECREATION CENTER
Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to add the job code of Swim Instructor Trainee at the wage of $15.00/hour, for current Lifeguard Gwen Weaver, effective May 1, 2023.
2) MARION CULTURAL & CIVIC CENTER
Approve the recommendation of the Director to promote Ryan Elmore and Kelsey McDonald to open fulltime positions, and the promotion of Carson Brimm to IMRF-eligible status.
3) BOYTON STREET COMMUNITY CENTER
Approve the recommendation of the Director to hire Benjamin Johnson as a part-time Custodian at $13/hour.
4) STREET DEPARTMENT
Approve the recommendation of the Superintendent to hire Matthew Wagner to an open full-time Laborer position at terms defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

1) Discuss/Approve minutes from the April 24, 2023 council meeting.

1) MARION CARNEGIE LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Approve the reappointments of George Trammell, Jenna Griffith, and Linda Walker to new three-year terms.
Approve the appointment of Steve Aschieris to fill the vacancy created by Andrew Wilson's resignation to a term that expires in 2024.
2) POLICE PENSION BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Reappoint Terance Henry to a 2-year term expiring in May 2025.
