I) Approve The City Of Genoa Sidewalk Master Plan
City Staff has developed the City of Genoa Sidewalk Master Plan which shows areas that do not have sidewalks outlined in red. This is in preparation for an application for the Safe Route to School sidewalk program in the Fall.
J) Approve Safe Route To School Sidewalk Priority Plan
To pair with the City of Genoa Sidewalk Master Plan, Staff has worked with C.E.S. to identify sidewalk projects that would be eligible to the Safe Route to School (SRTS) grant program and then prioritized these into 3 phases based on what likely has the highest school traffic. If the City were to be awarded a Grant with the Fall SRTS grant application for phase 1 of the Plan, the grant would pay for 80% of the project costs.
