The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 1:20 p.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:
Tim Atkisson, Chairman
Jim Marlo, Commissioner
Jim Rasor, Commissioner
Creal Springs, Hurst, and Zion Church were present to sign ARPA Participation Agreements.
Discussion had on Whiteash Sewer System.
Motion made by Jim Rasor and seconded Jim Marlo, approving RESOLUTION NO. 23-03-01-62 POLLING PLACE RELOCATION. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
Motion made by Tim Atkisson and seconded by Jim Marlo, approving Travel Reimbursement for Jim Rasor in the amount of $262.00. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Abstain. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
Commissioners decided to award Saline River Farms $1 Million in ARPA funds.
Commissioners signed off on four ARPA claims.
Commissioner Atkisson is putting together a response for the CDBG Grant findings.
Motion made by Jim Rasor and seconded by Jim Marlo to adjourn meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
