Q4 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Williamson County convicted of crimes against justice set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime against justice living in Williamson County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Carbondale Reporter.

The data shows the released offender was a woman. She was convicted in 2022 when she was 40 years old. She is now 41.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of crimes against justice were paroled during the fourth quarter of 2022 in each Illinois county.
