In a Nov. 22 Facebook post, Sen. Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) shared a link to an Illinois Made gift guide.
“Came across this Illinois Made post today and thought you all might enjoy looking it over,” she wrote on Facebook. “As the holidays approach maybe you can find something on this site that meets your gift-giving goals.”
The site includes a Gifts for Him category which includes items like a whiskey gift pack from Koval Distillery, and beach and canoe chairs from Navarro Canoe. In the Gifts for Her category, you'll find items like Zodiac Candles from Edgewater Candles, and 100% local honey and goats' milk soap bars from C's Bees Honey and more.
Illinois Made is part of the Illinois Makers program, which highlights "the small businesses whose uniquely Illinoisan style and creativity set our locally made goods apart."
Bryant easily recaptured her seat in November's general election since she ran unopposed.
