Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Board President, Mrs. Lois Jones called the regular meeting of the Trico Board of Education in the Trico Media Center at 6:30 pm. Members present were Mr. Gerald Speith, Mr. Matt Rodewald, Mr. Brian Blazier, Mrs. Amy Naile, Mr. Michael Baker, and President Lois Jones. Absent: Mr. Mario Dolce.

Mrs. Naile moved, second by Mr. Baker to approve the following Consent Agenda:

1. Approve the Minutes for the July 18, 2022

2. Approve the Bills for August 2022

3. Approve the Activity Fund Report for July 2022

4. Approve Monthly Financial Statement for July 2022

5. Approve monthly enrollment as of August 12, 2022

Mrs. Naile moved, second by Mr. Rodewald to approve the following annual resolutions:

a.) Hiring temp subs for the district b.) Authority for the administration to remove students c.) Designate Mr. Larry Lovel as the Title IX Grievance Officer, d.) the Grievance Officer and e.) the non-discrimination coordinator for the district, f.) Mr. Ron Coleman and Mrs. Jenny Wilson as complaint managers for sexual harassment or sexual discrimination for the district, g.) Miller, Tracy, Braun, Funk and Guenther as district legal advisor h.) Mr. Rodewald moved, second by Mrs. Naile to approve the 2022-2023 MTSS Plan. Yes: Baker, Speith, Rodewald, Blazier, Naile, Jones. No: None. Motion carried.

Mr. Baker moved, second by Mr. Speith to approve the recommendation to increase substitute employee rates, as presented, for the 2022-2023 school year. Yes: Speith, Rodewald, Blazier, Naile, Baker, Jones. No: None. Motion carried.

Mr. Speith moved, second by Mrs. Naile to approve the overnight field trip for the high school marching band to the University of IL Band Day in Champaign, IL on September 10 and 11, 2022. Yes: Rodewald, Blazier, Naile, Baker, Speith, Jones. No: None. Motion carried.
