Rising home prices in De Soto in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in De Soto rose by $700 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $79,950 - a 0.9% increase over the $79,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in De Soto in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in De Soto for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,902, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
