Of the 428 citizens living in Dowell in 2019, 352 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 167 of those people were female and 185 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
