Home prices decreased in Elkville during the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Elkville fell by $60,000 while total sales increased by 125%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $47,000 - a 56.1% decrease over the $107,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Elkville in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Elkville for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $862, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
