Newly-elected state Rep. Paul Jacobs (R-Pomona) is busy encouraging Union County constituents who are eligible for the COVID-9 vaccine to immediately reach out to the Anna Walmart to schedule an appointment.
“The Anna Walmart has informed me that they have an abundance of COVID-19 vaccine and they are concerned the doses will spoil because of lack of demand,” Jacobs, a physician by trade, said in a post to his website. “I’m encouraging my Union County constituents to make the call, set their appointments up and get the shot. I have received both doses of the vaccine and recommend that all eligible people do the same.”
COVID vaccinations and eligibility are increasing in Illinois as the state presumably moves closer to Phase 5 full reopening in Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s reopening plan.
