Carbondale Non-Bargaining Unit Employees Personnel Board recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Carbondale is considering the financial and land use development feasibility of expanding an existing Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District to include adjacent residential areas.
The City has issued a Requests for Proposals (RFP) seeking a qualified consulting firm to review the general study area (the “Study Area”) for TIF eligibility, assist in developing appropriate boundaries for the TIF District, conduct the necessary studies and create a redevelopment plan based on sound financial analysis and market realities.
