City of Murphysboro City Council Met Dec. 29.

Public Hearing: Public hearing was opened at 5:45 p.m. for public comment on the proposed 2021 Budget. No public comment was presented. Public Hearing was closed at 5:50 p.m.

The Murphysboro, Illinois, City Council met in special session at City Hall and by teleconference, pursuant to its ordinances, on the 29th day of December, 2020. Mayor Stephens called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and led the council in prayer followed with the pledge of allegiance. Mayor Stephens then directed City Clerk Hunziker to call the roll. The roll was called with the following

Present: Barb Hughes, Jance Curry-Witzman, Russell Brown, Bill Pierson, John Erbes, Mike Bastien, Gloria Campos, WJ Pittman *via teleconference

Absent: Gary McComb, Dan Bratton

Review and Approval of the Proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2021:

Motion: To adopt the proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2021.

Motion by Alderman Pittman

Second by Alderman Brown

Mayor Stephens called for voice vote. All were in favor.

Motion Carried

No public comment.

Motion: To adjourn at 6:07 p.m.

Second by Alderman Hughes

Mayor Stephens called for a voice vote. All were in favor.
