Ava home prices rise in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Ava rose by $6,477 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,000 - a 8.8% increase over the $73,524 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Ava in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Ava for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,082, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
