De Soto home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in De Soto fell by $1,500 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $70,500 - a 2.1% decrease over the $72,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in De Soto in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in De Soto for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,828, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
