Illinois State Senate District 58 issued the following announcement on April 16.
In response to news that the Pritzker administration is releasing a number of felons from Illinois prisons, including convicted murderers, State Senator Paul Schimpf and several of his colleagues sent the following letter to the Governor today asking for answers:
